MAKE ROOM AT YOUR TABLE
FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF FOOD
Who will fill the boots of our farmers?

With land prices skyrocketing, the food industry conglomerating,

and the age of our farmers rising, now averaging nearly sixty
years old, what does the the future of food hold for us?
A thousand new farmers. Because of you. So stand up, take part, and be recognized.

THANKS TO ALL THOSE EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION OF FOOD:
This summer, we invite you to join hundreds of other local food champions--people, businesses and community groups across California--by pledging to take JUST ONE ACTION in support of the newest crop of family farmers. No matter who you are, each step, big or small, can help these new agrarians thrive. And we at the Farmers Guild look forward to celebrating each and every one of them. So make your pledge, invite a friend, and lift a glass to the next generation of food!
WHAT STANDS IN THE WAY OF NEW FARMERS?

And what’s with the rooster?
While “local food” catchphrases proliferate, our logo signifies real action and welcomes conversation among a growing community that puts their money where their mouths are.
See our rooster in a restaurant window?
Chances are they’ve added a new local farm to their menu! So grab a table!

That same rooster hanging out at church?
Perhaps the congregation pooled their money to start a local CSA. Amen!

Rooster sittin' at your local bar?
5% of that pilsner might be going towards educational
programs for new and aspiring farmers. So drink up!
